The Founder Manifesto

About The Startup Graveyard πŸͺ¦

"I'll get it right next time." β€” Every entrepreneur, the morning after.

If you spend more than five minutes on tech Twitter, you would think building a startup is easy. Your feed is filled with founders posting hockey-stick growth charts, claiming $10,000 in monthly recurring revenue within a week, and sharing the exact prompts they used to build a viral empire in their sleep. It is an endless, exhausting highlight reel of success.

But we all know the unspoken reality of the indie hacker journey: for every product that takes off, there are a dozen that crash and burn.

Behind every successful founder is a hidden folder full of abandoned GitHub repositories, expired domains, and brilliant features that absolutely nobody wanted to pay for. Usually, we just stop renewing the server, let the domain expire, and pretend it never happened. We hide our failures because the internet only rewards winning.

Startup Graveyard was built to flip that script.

We created this digital graveyard because we believe that sunk costs, wasted hours, and dead projects shouldn't be hidden in shameβ€”they should be celebrated as rites of passage. This is a museum of hard lessons and a monument to the simple fact that building things is really difficult.

When you bury a project here, you are doing more than just filling out a form. You are performing a digital ritual of closure. By writing down the money you lost, the time you wasted, and the brutal "cause of death," you take away the sting of the failure. You turn your private disappointment into public humor, and in doing so, you help hundreds of other builders realize that they aren't the only ones struggling to find product-market fit.

Visitors can walk the grounds, read the post-mortems, and drop a digital flower to pay their respects to the founders who dared to build something out of nothing. It is a place of community catharsis.

So why is it called "Nexttime"?

Because the true mark of an entrepreneur isn't whether they fail, but what they do the morning after. You launch. You fail. You bury it. You pay your respects. And then you say the exact same words we all say:

"I'll get it right next time."

Welcome to the graveyard. Grab a shovel.

Digital Closure

Write down the post-mortem, quantify the hours & dollars, and close the chapter permanently.
